Article Reflection

Personally, i never cared about whatever was happening with gays/lesbians in this world. I never really related to them, and just saw them to be the same as every other person in the world. I just thought it was a normal and not a lot of discrimination was happening in the current world. So apparently I'm wrong after reading the article, even though it's not happening right here in Canada, it was somewhat shocking to me. It's almost saddening that gays are tricked into humiliation and violence. But then again, i probably still wouldn't care a lot more in the future, but it helped me recognize the things that are happening in other countries.
